Collaborated with Addaghar, Panchbati Ashram, Silpukhri Guwahati for an upcoming Elder Care project ‘Aapon’. The objective of Adda Ghar is to give a place for relaxation and get-together of senior citizens of Guwahati. Various kinds of entertaining programmes’, discussions and sports activities run at their venue. There will be facilities for an annual health check-up, yoga and meditation for permanent members of Ghar.

Supported by the Minneapolis Rotary club, Anaajoree monitored the installation of metallic bins in 15 schools across Guwahati city to sensitize school children on waste segregation and waste management.

In collaboration with the Environmental and Consumer Protection Foundation (ECPFO) and Suryodaya Yoga Sangha 200 fruit and medicinacl saplings were planted in the Basistha area of Guwahati city.

One of Anaajoree’s visions is to create an organic farm/backyard garden to promote permaculture in Anaajoree and also in Govt School. Work has been started for an organic farm in Anaajoree’s premise

Attended Healing Forest Walk 2021, in the neighbourhood forests of Guwahati Garoghuli Forest Trail. The event was organized by Healing Walk, New Delhi.

Collaborated with Nature's Orbit, a Guwahati based company established with the Goal of “think global and act local “.By reducing the size of the human ecological footprint, their goal is to make the world a better and safer place to live. Natures’s Orbit is bringing various organizations working on environment together, Anaajoree collaborated with them.

Celebration of Bihu with Mother’s Old Age Home Grand moms, Guwahati: Team Anaajoree celebrated the first day of bihu, 14th April with the grandmothers of Mother Old Age Home Guwahati. The event was live streamed on Facebook.

Anaajoree along with Care NorthEast Foundation and Midway Journey Inspected the existing structure to manage waste at the dumping yard at Chandrapur and Boragaon.

Two interns from Tezpur University, Social Work Department conducted primary survey in Margherita, Tinisukia district and Rangapara, Sonitpur district on SOLID AND LIQUID WASTE MANAGEMENT.

Partnership with British Council and BFI Flare to co-host Five Films for Freedom, the world’s first global, digital LGBTIQ short film programme in Guwahati along with The Queer Muslim Project and Poetry Couture.

7th edition of Guwahati Pride March was successfully conducted. Anaajoree was one of the organizers and partners of the Pride March event.

Anaajoree and Poetry Couture partnered with Tezpur University Cultural Studies Department to screen Five Films for Freedom. Post screening of Five Films for Freedom the faculty commented on the powerful discourse that the movies brought out and the need for such awareness. Milin Dutta talked about the challenges of being queer and how to overcome the challenges and build safe communities for the queer.

During the second wave of the Covid crisis, Anaajoree came together with several local NGOs working in the North East for the betterment of trans, hijra, intersex, and non-binary communities. Under SITAL (Save Indian Trans All India Live) initiative by ParivarBayArea and Sewa International, Anaajoree and partner organizations have distributed food and health kits among the Trans community in selected districts of the entire North Eastern States, excluding Manipur.

Collaboration with Jharna Foundation, Shillong to celebrate Pride Month, 2021 with a month long series of webinars on important topics like mental health issues and legal rights of the LGBTQ community. Eminent lawyers and personalities like Arundhati Katju and Manuraj Shunmugasundaram graced the occasion. The first day of the celebration started with poetry and singing event with Mayuri Deka , Rituparna , Madhu Raghavendra , Benjamin Daimary , Pratik Permey and a few others.

As part of the ongoing pride month celebrations, Anaajoree in collaboration with The Labonya Project presented a week-long online creative writing workshop, exclusively for the youth of LGBTQ+ community.

'PORISOY' - the first and one-of-it's-kind virtual Fellowship program on Skill Orientation for Trans and Gender-fluid persons in Northeast India was implemented. In the first cohort 14 fellows from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh joined. The program is supported by Sewa International Bharat and Parivar Bay Area US.

Final phase of Covid-19 relief completed with aid received for The Pollination Project , USA. 50 transgender people of Dhubri and Nalbari districts received relief materials and health kits.

Meeting with representatives from queer rights activists of Assam to discuss and brainstorm to improve the lives of LGBTQ community in Assam.

Founder Milin Dutta was invited as one of the panelists for the 3-day convention on Human Rights and the Law in the Northeast being organized at Don Bosco Institute, Kharguli, Guwahati by Human Rights Law Network.

Anaajoree has been raising funds for animal welfare organizations that have been working in the grassroots in rescuing, feeding and fostering street animals. During the year INR 11,500 is raised for animal welfare.

Visited local shelter homes of Street Animal Welfare (SAW), Guwahati. Rashmi Chaudhury is the founder of SAW, in their shelter home rescued and paralyzed dogs are kept with utmost care. Before starting their own shelter home SAW members cared for the street dogs in a paid facility though it was self-sustainable. Finally that they have created their own animal shelter with lots of love.

Anaajoree helped SAW in organizing the worksh Police sensitization workshop on Animal protection laws. The workshop was conducted by Gauri Maulekhi who explained each animal law in detail. Anaajoree’s partner organization Street Animal Welfare Guwahati organized the workshop

Anaajoree collaborated with Purr Paws foundation to rescue many stray animals. On August 19 2021 A skinny kitten without a mother was rescued from the corner of a busy street. The kitten was handed over to PurrPaws Foundation, Anaajoree’s partner organization for shelter and better care. On November 26th 2021 another puppy was rescued from a busy street. On December 6th 2021 a puppy was rescued from a busy street, dewormed and house trained. However, the little puppy could not be saved. He died of canine distemper.

Produced by Founder Milin Dutta, ‘Fireflies’ (Jonaki Porua) became the first ever Assamese movie addressing the queer issue that has been well received in India and nominated at International Film Festivals. Anaajoree has vision to come up with more meaningful regional movies on contemporary issues.

Guwahati Municipal Corporation has restarted the Street Dog Sterilization Project in Guwahati, implemented by partner organization JBF. Anaajoree is identifying community leaders who are feeding the street dogs, and connecting them to JBF. The presence of the community leaders make the capturing of the dogs easier and make the process less stressful for both the animals and the volunteers.
