To create this bond of love, empathy and care for the entire people of North East, Milin Dutta, an electrical engineer by profession left his job in the USA and founded Anaajoree in the year 2017.
Though in a nascent stage, Anaajoree had been able to initiate a public discourse on all the focal areas. Be it issues related to Gender & sexuality, urban farming, STEM education, elderly care, animal rights, and solid waste management. Anaajoree is also committed to prevent the brain drain of students, job seekers and intelligentsia of Assam and North East by creating a sustainable environment of prospects in the North East. Our mission is to Support / Promote / Inspire / Connect and work with local individuals and enterprises who are dedicated towards improving the quality of life of both humans and animals, so that North East India emerges as a future hub of opportunities in the country.

At Anajoree, we strive to make the world a better place for our furry (and not so furry) friends. Behind every rescue or rehabilitation, there is a story which we hope to bring up through this platform. It's not always rescues; sometimes small gestures as simple as setting out a bowl of water for the birds or setting up a box as a shelter for a stray dog can go a long way in realizing our vision.
We understand that it's not always possible for an individual to help an animal due to various constraints. Hence, Anajoree came up with a plan to set up a repository to help you find the correct source for advice, assistance, and practical solutions whenever you need. Please checkout the links on Rescue Groups and Adoption to find the precise kind of assistance you need.
